Inspired by Steen & Strøm’s furniture collection
Norwegian furniture designer Fredrik A. Kayser is creating pieces to be sold as part of Steen & Strøm’s furniture collection. In the 1930s, Steen & Strøm expands into new business areas and establishes factories in addition to the department store. Steen & Strøm has premises in Lillehammer until 1971 and has approximately one hundred workers producing furniture. The window exhibition draws its inspiration from a typical furniture designer’s office from that time.
