A gilded piece of Norwegian history began when the silversmith Einar Christophersen (EC) got certified in the trade and opened a small workshop in Stavanger in 1914. The following year, he moved the business to Sandnes and has since been a recognized player in the world of goldsmiths, who eventually excelled particularly in gold and diamond goods.
EC 1914 is today one of the largest suppliers to the David-Andersen stores. The ambition has always been to deliver quality jewelry, and our dedicated craftsmen pass on the knowledge in our workshop in Sandnes. This autumn, EC 1914 is launched as an independent brand, with Pia Tjelta as ambassador.
EC 1914 can be found at around 30 jewelers' shops around the country, and this autumn, a separate brand store will be opened at Steen & Strøm in Oslo for those who want to look at sparkling diamonds.
